Tynana was incorporated in 2026 by two engineers. We are pre-launch, pre-Series A, and intentionally small. Most of the roles below are scoped but not yet posted — we are looking for founding engineers who want to ship a real chip, not just a slide.
You will work directly with the founders. There is no layer of program management between you and the next tapeout. You will see your work go to AIM Photonics or GlobalFoundries within months, not years.
We are not building a quantum computer. We are building the photonic and cryo-CMOS layer that makes other people's quantum computers usable. That focus matters: we know exactly what we are shipping, and what we are not.
If you want to do deep work on cryo electronics, integrated photonics, or the firmware that ties them together — and you are willing to be employee number one or two — this is the right place.
None of these are formally posted yet because we are still finalizing seed funding. If you see something close to your background, send a note — we would rather have the conversation early than miss the right person waiting for a job-board listing.
Direct conversation with a founder. Why Tynana, why now, what you are working on, what you want to build next.
One past project, one open problem from our roadmap. No whiteboard puzzles. We work through real constraints together.
Three references — at least one a peer you have shipped silicon, firmware, or a paper with. We will give you ours too.
Half-day onsite when geography allows; remote-friendly otherwise. Offer within 72 hours of the loop closing.
Send a short note about what you are working on now and what you want to work on next. Two founders read every email.
Tynana LLC has two employees today: the two founders. Salary bands, equity grants, and benefits will be defined when we close our first institutional round. We will not waste your time with a process before we can credibly make an offer — but we want to know who is interested now.
